Headshots

Darren Gilbert, an accomplished author, needed professional headshots for the inside sleeve of his upcoming book. He sought images that would reflect his personality and create a connection with his readers. Understanding the importance of comfort and authenticity in portraits, I offered to travel out of town to Darren’s home, allowing us to capture him in a setting where he felt most at ease.

During the shoot, we set up multiple shots in his home and office, as well as in a neighboring park, utilizing natural light and familiar surroundings to achieve a relaxed and genuine look. The session resulted in a series of high-quality photos that perfectly captured Darren’s personality. These images not only graced the inside sleeve of his book but also played a crucial role in the promotion and marketing of his work.
